Ministry to the Elderly

Regular visits are conducted by Andrew every Wednesday to the retirement village Jane Winston. The objective is to provide the elderly a time of fellowship, talk and laugh. If you wish to join the team, please contact Andrew.

Every first Thursday of the month, Mike and the team conducts a church fellowship with the elderly at Jane Winston. The fellowship includes singing old hymns, a short gospel and a time of fellowship with the residents. Contact Mike if you feel called for the cause.

Christine arranges 'a table for eight' event every Sunday where elderly couples and singles have lunch together after the church service. Feel free to contact Christine to join the team.

Christine keeps in touch with the elderly in the congregation to ensure their wellbeing and that their needs and wants are taken care.

Christine, Mike & Sue enjoys arranging special fun and musical afternoons which are much awaited by the elderly.

Riverside Christian Church is privileged to conduct Christmas carols by Riverkids at different retirement villages in the town.
